Definitions

• TXC file
  • A single XML file conforming to the TXC spec.
• Operating period
  • Start and end dates of 1 or more lines or services.
  • If an end date is missing then we assume the end date is the later of 1 year from the start date or 1 year from today.
• Dataset
  • 1 or more TXC files that have been uploaded to Passenger Cloud together (eg in a single zip file)
  • An individual service cannot be in more than 1 TXC file in each dataset.
• Effective period
  • Start and end dates of a dataset.
  • This is based on the earliest start and latest end date of all the operating periods within a dataset.

Supported datasets

Datasets covering a short period, with multiple lines in each TXC file.

Datasets covering a short period, with 1 line in each TXC file.

Datasets covering a longer period

Unsupported datasets

Datasets covering a longer period, with an individual service repeated in a dataset. Here, TXC files 3 and 4 contains the same line as TXC files 1 and 2, which are in the same dataset. To remedy this, upload TXC files 3 and 4 as a separate dataset. This is unsupported, as the order and precedence of different data in TXC files is ambiguous.
