Passenger apps and websites have the option of showing condensed journeys on timetables, only showing "major" stops. These are defined as Principle Timing Points (PTP), Principal Points (PPT) or Time Info Points (TIP) in NaPTAN. "Other" stops (OTH) will not be shown on condensed timetables.
Note: TransXChange can also include whether a stop is principal or a timing point but Passenger only uses the timing status from NaPTAN.
Passenger websites and apps can be configured so that timetables show all stops by default or only condensed timetables. Our standard is for all stops to be shown but this can be changed upon request. We have found that the majority of users view timetables on devices with good scrolling capabilities and hiding some stops without giving users context of what stops are major could be confusing for an end user.
